4 Ingredient Instant Pot Teriyaki Chicken

Do you love Teriyaki chicken? And do you love a quick meal? Of course you do because you are busy! We are all busy these days and looking for a quick way to get a delicious dinner on the table while multi-tasking other daily/nightly duties. Everyone is looking for an easy, delicious, quick meal for the family! This recipe usescoconut secret gluten free teriyaki sauce. This is the first time I had ever used it, and it is very good! No added cane sugar. Per the bottle, “It’s sweetened with a coconut tree sap. The sap is very low glycemic (35) and contains a wide range of minerals, vitamin c, broad spectrum B vitamins, 17 amino acids, and has a nearly neutral pH.”

Here’s how it came together. I diced 3 pounds of a mixture of chicken tenderloins and boneless, skinless thighs. Stirred ½ cup of the teriyaki sauce, 6 loosely chopped garlic cloves, and 1 teaspoon of ground ginger in the IP.Then I added the chicken and coated. Secured the lid and set the manual button to 8 minutes. That’s all! While this is cooking you can warm up precooked rice or cook rice on the stove top.

3 pounds chicken tenderloins and or skinless, boneless chicken thighs (or all of one cut).

½ cup of Coconut Secret Teriyaki Sauce

1 teaspoon of ground ginger

6 cloves garlic, loosely chopped



1.  Chop all of the chicken into bite sized pieces or size of your liking.

2.  In the Instant Pot, mix the teriyaki sauce, garlic, and ginger.

3.  Place the chicken in the pot and stir to combine.

4.  Secure the Pressure Cooker lid in place. 

5.  Push the manual button and turn to 8 minutes.

6.  Once done, manually release the steam.

7.  Stir once more and serve over rice or veggies. 

8.  Garnish with fresh or toasted sesame seeds!

9.  Enjoy!
